Some rockers are difficult to start rocking because they don't have a deep enough motion.  This is not a problem with our chairs as they have quite a deep rocking action.  Also, our chairs have a "forward rock" which means that the front half of the rockers are more curved than the back half.  What does this mean?  It means that if you are a new mom then getting in or out of a chair with your baby is easy.  Seniors will also appreciate this feature.
