Mission Rockers

Mission Style is a design that emphasizes simple horizontal and vertical lines and flat panels that accentuate the grain of the wood.

Off Your Rocker replicates those ideals in our own chairs now, bringing that traditional styling and solid wood construction to provide character in these chairs.  Solid hardwoods with a variety of finishes, and an equally wide variety of upholstery options, will suit any décor.

These rockers measure 30” deep x 27” wide x 39” tall (unless otherwise noted), with seat measurements of 20” wide x 19 ½” deep and is 17” high (about the same as an average dining chair).   Extra thick  foam  in the seat and back provide great comfort. Additional lumbar support in the lower back area make these rockers great for folks with back problems. Spend a half hour in one of these rockers, and you’ll be glad you did!

Oak Mission Rocker with S-Curve

Note the decorative S-shaped curve support in this unique varient.  This particular chair is espresso-stained oak with an off-white faux suede.

Leather Mission Rockers

When you sit in this particular Mission Rocker, there is no mistaking the touch and scent of genuine leather.  We use real cow-hides, not bycast leather or vinyl, so you can be assured of quality.  The walnut-stained oak compliments the black leather and makes for a timeless piece of furniture.

This Mission-inspired rocker features a simplified arm style.  This chair was upholstered in a buttery-soft burgandy leather with natural oak finish, but other colours are available.

Danish Rocker

The Danish style rocker features clean, simple styling, and pleasing lines.  Like all of my chairs, it features extra lumbar support and a back that conforms to the S-curve of your back to provide hours of comfort.

Country Cottage Rocker

The traditional Mission-look has been updated for this rocking chair.  Note the clean lines and crisp paint.  You can enjoy this chair with or without the armpads.

Southwest Mission Rocker

The fabric on this southwest-style Mission rocker is made of durable 100% cotton and features colours of earthy rusts, greens and desert tans with a geometric design.  Golden oak stain accents the lovely upholstery work.

Japanese Shoji Mission rocker

This beautiful Japanese-inspired mission rocker featured a durable cotton-polyester blend fabric in a gorgeous bright red with gold kanji. Ebony stain accented the upholstery. The side panels featured a delicate wood lattice work with fabric inserts that resemble a Japanese Shoji (privacy) screen. Porch Rocker

These all-wood Mission Porch Rockers (shown here in a maple finish) are an adaptation of my regular mission rocking chair.  The backs are curved to ensure a comfortable fit for your own back.  The complete chair measures 38" tall by 27" wide by 30" deep with arms that are a generous 3" wide.  (This particular chair pictured was custom-built to be extra wide.)  Cushions are also available.

For use indoors or on a covered porch.
